I was thinking about essential attitudes and practices for daily peace, spiritual growth and constant contact with your Spirit/Source.  Here’s what I came up with:

1- Gratitude.   Gratitude is the energy of love.  It fills up the empty places and cheers you up!

2- Acceptance.   This is what is.  Acceptance creates sanity, and allows you to make good decisions. It nurtures trust.

3- Surrender.  This is what is, but I didn’t see it coming.  Trust that everything that is happening is for your highest good.

4- Compassion.  We’re all in this together.  To be human is to be imperfect, to practice compassion it to be your divine self.

5- Contemplation/Meditation.  Take time to sit and do nothing.  It quiets the mind and connects you to your inner wisdom.  It allows for perspective, expanded consciousness and forgiveness.
