“I am a traveling consultant who has been gaining weight and diets just don’t have lasting results. The problem seems to be that I am in situations of over abundance of food and drink with late night evenings. I decided to try Mary Dziennik and use Hypnotherapy as an alternative to the diets that I have attempted before. I went through four session with remarkable results and most importantly, sustainable results. 

What I like most about working with Mary is the casual and relaxing atmosphere she creates. In such a relaxed state, the sessions were conversational, as well as time for me to visualize where I wanted to be and become. 


What seemed to help was taking these visual images and putting names to them. For example, I came up with the name “Habit” to relate to my behavior of over eating. I visualized during my sessions when I did this after work each day. During the sessions, Mary would suggest for me to come up with any other keyword for that would help remind me not to do this. I used the word “Boundaries” to help me remember to push back the plate and limit my intake. 


As I proceeded with my other sessions with Mary, the process got much better as we focused on more targeted and specific areas on how I could create diversions so I can avoid situations where I would over eat. I called this “Taking a step in the right direction”. Once I took this correct step I was good for the rest of the night. In my case, the step in the right direction, was simply taking a walk around the hotel, going for a brief jog or walk. Just simply inserting a break from the work day, to the evening, but in a more healthy way. 


The results, I’ve lost 30 pounds, without dieting. It was easy and I believe it will be sustaining and I will continue to lose weight without dieting.
